The Heart Behind Nature Glee: A Founder’s Story

Hello, I am Angela, the founder of Nature Glee.

Nature Glee didn’t begin with a business plan. It began with a story.

As a mother, environmental scientist, and natural storyteller, I have always found myself weaving tales around the trees, skies, and creatures we see, especially for my children. To me, nature isn’t just beautiful — it’s deep, universal, and full of wonder. And for years, I knew in my heart that one day, I would create something just for kids — something that captured that wonder.

That idea stayed quietly with me, even after moving from Nigeria to Canada. But it wasn’t until I started sharing my own story of raising children between continents, of longing for learning tools that reflect both nature and African heritage, that Nature Glee began to truly take shape.

It started with one story, and before long, I saw a bigger vision: puzzles, play kits, coloring books, and other playful tools to help children everywhere reconnect with nature, while also seeing African landscapes, animals, and culture reflected joyfully in what they play with.

Nature Glee is my way of helping families rediscover awe in the sunlight, in the soil, and in stories that feel like home.
