The Heart Behind Nature Glee: A Founder’s Story

Hi, I’m Angela—founder of Nature Glee.

I started Nature Glee after moving from Nigeria to Canada and noticing a gap, not just in nature-based learning tools but also in ones that reflect the beauty and diversity of African stories and landscapes. As a mother, educator, and environmental scientist, I knew there was room to gently add to what exists, not to replace it, by offering playful, nature-inspired products that celebrate both global wonders and African roots.

From chasing butterflies as a child to raising kids of my own in a different part of the world, I’ve seen how powerful it is when children grow close to nature. Nature Glee was born to make that connection joyful again, through books, puzzles, play kits, and printables that invite stillness, curiosity, and creativity.

This is a journey to help families rediscover awe in the sunlight, in the soil, and in stories that feel like home.
